Scenes From Our Weekend

I can not believe we are less than two weeks away from Thanksgiving!!  I need to start planning my menu STAT!
We had such a lovely weekend, here is what we did.

Friday night our dear friend Julia and her husband were in town.  It is always such a joy to see her and catch up!  Last time we saw each other was the week after Frances was born so it had been almost a year!!  We always laugh and pick right back up where we left off, like good friends do.  We had a delicious dinner at Basil.

Saturday morning I took the kids to the Wonder Works Christmas event.  Sterling had a blast.  He is Frozen obsessed so he loved the Frozen performance.

and how cool is this inflatable igloo?  It comes with shields and then you buy these fake snowballs to have snowball fights.  It was a huge hit with all the kids.

I was so excited for the cold weather to dress Frances Moon in her new Gap stuff from the Friends and Family sale!
and I can't forget my sweet boy who loves to dress himself.
Inside out and backwards sweater- that sums it up.  I honestly love seeing what he puts together for the day.

I am so excited because I tracked down two sets of the Nate Berkus Holiday plates.  I plan to use these for our Thanksgiving Dinner.

I gave Frances Moon's Peacock Chair a little make over for her birthday.  I want to buy this metallic gold spray paint in bulk I love it so much.

I was super proud of the breakfast I made Sterling this week, thank you pinterest for the idea.

Our new runner arrived for Hallway and I just love it.

Lived in my La Senorita Jolie shirt.  Not thick at all, super light weight and so comfortable.
Use code LSJ-DBDD for free shipping on your orders. I am in a size medium for those curious, I like my lounge wear looser.

Had a blast with some mustaches we found while cleaning out toys.

Enjoyed some time by the fire pit again.  Matt has been making some pretty bad ass fires lately.

Cooked an amazing Sunday Dinner.  Our favorite Chili + Winter Slaw (recipe from the new Ina Cookbook and I know I am a broken record about her book but its so good).
